BED OF NAILS (I WAS CURED): This bed is the second bed I created. I was so impressed that the “I Was Cured” group (from Toronto) had helped make suspension popular in Canada. It was once a rare occurrence among piercers and “I Was Cured” made suspension something that the general public could have an opportunity to try.

The motivation and professionalism of “I Was Cured” inspired me to make this bed of nails for them as a gift. My hope was it would be carried around from event to event for people to try, especially those spectators who were not familiar with exploring their own pain sensations, and it could be seen as a stepping stone before considering their first pull or suspension. It still belongs to the “I Was Cured” group to this day.
